Tipster of the Year Awards

Best Football Tipster tipster Joao GomezThis one wasn’t really close, our Brazilian specialist Joao Gomez trounced the competition and was a clear winner, here is some of the feedback we received on him and his service.

When your looking for stable growth over the long run and minimum loses over the year. Joao is the man to have in your portfolio. I choose him because of his stability over long run.
Consistent profit, low variance, quite good odds availability, big odds markets
Tomislav Vucic came in second with Anton Ebdon and Simeone Tassini tied in third.

Best NFL Tipster Award

After a tough season in the NBA, this one was always going to be close, in the end Paul Morris won through with 62% of the vote though there were a lot of remarks about how hard it had been in 2012 to make money from this sport.

Best Basketball Tipster Award

No prizes given away for guessing who won this one, with 88% of the vote, “King of the Hoops” Andrei Nitu retained his crown and was voted by you as our best basketball tipster. Some of your comments:
He is a consistent tipster who made profit every month even if two of them were a few units but he was able to comeback from behind and come at level by gaining the losses he had. A real tipster that he does not know what LOSE means 🙂 For me Nitu is the best here, because he picks just few picks and make a Good profit Oustanding profit, yield and consistent profitable months

Best Baseball Tipster Award

With two outstanding candidates, this one was a lot closer, in the end newcomer Florin Groza pipped Mike McClain to the post and emerged as the winner by only two votes.
Although a new comer and am waiting to see how he do in the new year his past result has shown his stability and ability that he has what it takes.his performance is way better then any of the other tipster so far. Simply amazing success rate!

Best Tennis Tipster Award

The ever consistent Raul Pinto was nominated as your Top tennis Tipster, 44.44% of the vote went to Raul and there were several comments on his consistency and profitability. There was one dissenting voice though:
I think deserves the prize Jeremy Bloom, who had only one month was not very good otherwise have had profit and sees more than that on the discretion of the tips that realizes much tennis. Jeremy Bloom is already some time online so my choice.
Author of that piece?  Raul Pinto himself.

Best Rugby Tipster Award

Laurent Marty is an old hand at betting on Rugby and his experience and years of work put into the site has clearly been appreciated by BetAdvisor clients, with 54% of the vote you voted him our top Rugby tipster of 2012.

Best Horse Racing Tipster Award

With all due respect to the other options in this poll,  I think even his fellow horse racing tipsters would nominate Aiden Monroe as the best Horse Racing tipster of 2012, it seems you agreed as he had 46% more of the vote than any of his rivals.
Aiden Monroe was another tipster in great evidence in Betadvisor. My choice is based on the profit that gives customers Monroe. Aiden is a legend Aiden Monroe is the One! Few picks with Great results
That leaves us with just two categories, Best Newcomer and 2012 Top Tipster.

Best Newcomer 2012

This one was hotly contested, Frank Ellison and Andreas Kloft came in joint third, Tomislav Vucic came in a close second but the eventual winner was Florin Groza. You said:
My favourite tipster Excellent stats, incredible profit !
Tomislav Vucic also picked up some praise:
Very impressive selections with pretty good odds. Remember Inter against Juve away from home!

Best Tipster Award 2012

In the end, only 3 tipsters came close to winning this and our victor won by a landslide. In third place with 11% of the vote, Aiden Monroe. In second place, with 16% of the vote, football tipster Joao Gomez. Top of the tree and BetAdvisors Tipster of the Year is Andrei Nitu, with a profit of 5474 units and a yield of 20.72% over his 341 tips, Andrei really showed his quality in 2012, he did not have a single losing month, the only tipster able to claim that. What do you think?  Was this a fair result?  Did you vote differently and will Andrei be able to hold his place in 2013?]]>
