Glorious Goodwood – Day 3 with Micky Biggs

3.15 a few inter mingled lines of form to split apart in what is a strong race on paper, one that I can’t fancy is the ex-Australian trained Manighar who has been tried over varying trips since coming to the U.K without much success, Opinion Poll has the class but maybe not the speed to win this, Chiberta King has won his last two but still does not look good enough to win here, Red Cadeaux seems to need more cut to show his best so that just leaves two I think could win the race, the Mark Johnston trained Fox Hunt who ran a blinder for us last time and Tastahill who is the selection, he was never going last time on, the rain softened going and neither did he last the extreme trip, prior to that he was in good form and if showing that level of form again today will take all the beating in what will be a strongly run race with Overturn in the field. 3.45 fillies races are not betting mediums for me because they are like women, unfathomable, I didn’t think Wild Coco was over impressive last time out despite winning, and strictly on form she has not much in hand of Shankardeh and Field of Miracles so just a watching race for me 4.20 is another no bet race for me, with too many unknowns. 4.55 another wide open 3yr old handicap, the race Bridgefield won last time was a pretty moderate affair for Newmarket so not for me, Chilworth Lad has been a model of consistency when the going has been on the fast side so has his fair share of weight, the trip looks on the sharp side on this sort of track for Tuscania, I have narrowed it down to three that I think could win, subscribers and free triallers will be finding out which are my choices later today. Glorious5.25 they were both weak races that Dragonera won and today’s race will be much tougher so not for me, same applies to Kinyras I don’t think the form is good enough to win this, Parvana is another short priced runner I can’t fancy, she only just clung on in a moderate Pontefract race last time, it isn’t a race I will be having a bet in but I have narrowed it down to just three runners I think can win, Reflect the Richard Hughes chosen one from the Hannon runners but I fear he may have too much weight, Art History from the Mark Johnston yard who prior to last time when running on soft going had been a model of consistency, but I think it is worth taking a chance on the Paul Hanagan neglected Mica Mika prior to his last two runs his form would be good enough one of those runs was at Ascot on the soft behind Brown Panther when a lot of horses disappointed, and then after that when for some reason all the hold up runners came to the fore in a odd race so at around 32-1 I think he is a bit of value.]]>
